Ingrid graduated with an accounting degree from Justo Rufino Barrios College in Guatemala, working in her home country for 2 years and later returning to the United States to continue her business career.
She worked 8 years in the travel industry and 19 years with Hunter Douglas Corporation in accounting management positions. She became part of the Hunter Douglas Business Development Group in 2008 and for 4 years held supervisory marketing and administrative positions, designing creative collateral materials and complex accounting documents for use by staff and participants attending national and international meetings, seminars and webinars, as well as producing professional video clips and slideshows for use and presentation by designers and small business owners.
In 2012, Ingrid opened Debalco’s, offering services to small businesses, including video conferencing, finished video clips and editing, customized slideshows of trade shows and customer testimonials, professional printing and binding of business documents, workbooks and handouts and personalized promotional items for use at company and other specialty celebrations and events.
